Section 13
Detention

(1) A person arrested in accordance with this paragraph shall be kept in custody.
(2) When detained as per sub-section (1), such a person shall be detained only after giving a detention warrant in the format as per Schedule-10 including the place of arrest and reason for detention.
(3) If a person is detained in accordance with sub-section (1), his name, surname, age, address with tolls, father's, mother's name, his citizenship certificate or any other identity card, if any, such certificate or identity card, if not, driver's license, passport, If he has a telephone number, he should also take a copy of a similar document that reveals his real identity, including the telephone number.
(4) For the purpose of sub-section (3), the investigating officer may also take his photograph and finger print including the palm of both hands as required.
(5) After the record is prepared in accordance with sub-section (3), the concerned police office or investigation officer shall provide the information about the person in custody to the person requested to be informed based on such record.
(6) If a person arrested under this section wants to consult a legal practitioner, the investigating officer shall allow him to consult such a legal practitioner.
